Midcentury Asian Floral Fabric
Measures 100" x 44" (2.75 yards)
This is an extremely striking fabric in a vivid shade of red-orange that belongs to the 1950s-70s. The surface of the fabric is printed with metallic silver chrysanthemums and bronze leaves. The camera does not do justice to the shiny quality of the silver. It's a thin fabric with a fine, tight weave. The centers of the large mums are spaced about 7" apart, to give you a sense of scale. It's pictured on a 1" grid. A burn test indicates this is synthetic, probably polyester. It's a bit wrinkled from storage but has no other sign of wear or use.
