This British War Medal and Victory Medal come complete with what appear to be original good condition ribbons.

The medals themselves are in good condition with no marks or signs of over-polishing.

The medals belonged to Private Hubert John Turley of East Yorkshire Regiment. His service number was 36518.

He then went on to serve in the Labour Corps under service number 479406.

I have researched this individual and have his entire family tree mapped out.
