Size:  large, about  72 inch by 54 inch approx

Age: My evaluation is 1930 to 1970, that means late Republic period to 1970s.

Conditions: Some stains, wrinkles. The base is real silk. If there is no wrinkle, it is not silk! It had a lot of wrinkles, but I was able to iron most of wrinkles out easily as what it is shown on photos. It must be folded in shipping, and you can iron folding lines out (set the iron to low temperature for silk/wool).

It may have holes, silk base thinning, silk discoloration, etc. Those are all common for old silk artwork. This one has a very large size, and  you can always find some problems somewhere on the silk if you examine carefully enough.

This is 100% real hand embroidered artwork.

Many different colors of cotton threads were used to make subtle color change. There must be hundreds of different colors of cotton threads used to make smooth color transitions and details so every duck looks so vivid.

Most embroidery work in China are machine embroidery nowadays. Although machine embroidery gets better now, the quality is still no comparison to hand embroidery. Hand embroidery just has so many details. To make this piece at this size, it takes few embroidery ladies few months.

This is truly one of the kind.

I used them as bedsheet it can also be mount on the wall in house with some push pins. It displays great, and guests love it.
