Vintage Mattel Drowsy Doll 1964 Pull String Not Talking 14" TLC needed

This sweet little doll was well loved. She measues betweeen 14 and 15 inches long. The attached pajamas are pink with white polka dots with a discolored lace trim around the wrists and collar. The lace around the neck is no longer attached and is stretched. There is a small red barrett in her hair - I did not attempt to remove it as I am not sure if it is original. 

I gently washed her face and hands, and wiped her clothing. I did not wash her because I'm unfamiliar with the "talking" mechanism inside. Perhaps someone more familiar can give her the necessary TLC!
