For sale is this very scarce vintage cassette of JOHN RENBOURN - SIR JOHN ALOT OF MERRIE ENGLANDES MUSYK THYNG & YE GRENE KNYGHTE on Transatlantic Records 1968 in fabulous all-original condition. This is a genuine c.1968 UK 1st Issue Cassette. It has a two panel J-card and light grey tape shell with vivid purple labels. It comes in what seems to be its original notched Norelco case. The tape is manufactured in Belgium by Ampex (manufacturing of the nascent cassette format being almost non-existent in the late 60s here in the UK). The album was recorded at the legendary Sound Techniques in Chelsea, engineered by John Wood and is quite wonderful.

**At the time of listing this appears to be the only copy of this cassette available for sale anywhere on the internet.**

Condition is superb: The case graded VG+ with light wear only. The inlay is VG+ with light signs of handling. The cassette is Excellent (EX). It is close to near mint with slight curling of the labels at the edge but with no bubbling and still very firmly affixed. This cassette has been briefly tested, carefully returned to the start and is known to be working - a really beautiful copy of this vanishingly rare collector's cassette.

Please note: Cassettes of this age are extremely fragile. For this reason this tape is sold as a collectable item only and without guarantee.
