Hello everyone, I'm listing a vintage pair of cast iron shelf brackets that have a a small cross hatch pattern with a primrose and scroll motif, the lot of 2 brackets are used and rustic. Both brackets are in great unrestored condition with no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. They have the expected wear from age and use, they measure about 7 1/4 inches by 6 3/8" and can be set either way, for a narrow shelf and long drop, or a wider shelf with a short drop. The surface is black with some paint on the edges from being mounted and painted around. The set was purchased recently from an estate and the condition is as seen in the photos, so be sure to check the pictures for the clear details. Feel free to contact me with any questions, I check in often so I'll answer quickly and thanks for your interest in these great old brackets.
I take great care all around for each one of my listings, from uploading good photos of every angle of the item, to carefully and adequately packing and shipping them. I strive for 5 star feedback, so I respectfully ask my buyers to contact me for something I might have missed. I detail everything as best that I can and I upload detailed expandable photos, I can also send more photos on request through the message system. As always, it's a buyer's duty to examine the photos and read the detailed description before bidding and/or winning an item.
Buyers will only be charged the appropriate shipping fee according to the zip code they live in and by the actual weight and value of the package. I only charge insurance fees if I feel that the item is especially fragile or valuable and I usually foot that cost myself. Rising rates and slow delivery times are never within a seller's control, I'm not in control of the United States Post Office's prices, any issue is with them and eBay (who carves out their 10% of shipping fees for themselves), not with me. I don't charge for time spent packing and shipping, or gas money. I keep it as close to the bone as I can.
Please ask any and all questions before bidding and the auctions closing, good communication is key to us all having a great experience, whether buying or selling. Most items that I sell are either vintage or used, so they're not usually like new and they're sold "as is". I upload lots of photos, items will always be described to the absolute best of my ability, and I can also send more photos thru the eBay message system if asked. I will be glad to answer any questions that you might have in a very timely manner. Refunds will never be applied until the item has been validated as returned.
Vintage things are a passion for me and I hope that you will share my enthusiasm for what I list. Let's have fun and not have any regrets or buyer's remorse. I strive for 5 star detailed seller ratings, and I appreciate contact from my buyers to discuss any and all issues if and when they may arise. Thanks!
