HUGE 43" Vintage Mid Century Danish Sculptural Teak Lamp With Shade 60's 70's.Not labeled or marked anywhere I can find. This beautiful lamp stands about 43 1/8" tall to the top of the shade. The base is about 6 5/8" in diameter. The shade is about 20" in diameter, and is made with a heavy-duty acrylic resin inside (see pictures). Over the years, the wood finish has turned to a golden color. The styling of this lamp is iconic Scandinavian Mid Century. I don't know who made the lamp, and I haven't seen another one like it.
Used. Very good used condition. The socket looks like it has been replaced at one time (see pictures). The cord, plug and socket all appear to be in very good condition. The lamp works as it should featuring three-way lighting. Any inspection is the responsibility of the buyer. The wood shows a little ageing (see pictures). There is a small area of worn finish on the neck of the lamp, and a dark spot (see pictures). The shade is in very good condition with a few light wrinkles on the inside which can't be seen from the outside or when the lamp is on (see pictures). The felt on the base is tattered but still useable.
