Hello!

This is an Elson Tailor-ette measuring tool, probably made by Dritz in the 1950s. It appears to be made of plastic, with a metal chalk holder at the top. It measures about 6 3/4" long.

There is a 1950 copyright date on the reverse. Later surviving packages show Dritz branding and are dated 1962.

The plastic wrap has yellowed and is causing the package to peel and bend inward at the corners. There is a vertical crease that follows the perforated line on the back. There is a piece of tape inside the package at the top, which has yellowed. Please check the photos for details.
