Please note:

• The Sega Genesis console itself has had a region mod attempted, but this was undone and eventually covered with jumper wire and electrical tape(the JP toggle wasn’t fully tested, but the 50Hz toggle was and turns out to undo PCM sample playback and render graphics only in gray scale, even on an AV monitor that recognizes PAL video). [Tip: The ASIC must be replaced with a 315-5660 chipset if a 50Hz mod is desired.]

• Along with the 3-button controller and composite AV cord, no AC adapter will be bundled. Instead, I bundle this console with a female 9 volt USB PD to male 2.1mm center negative barrel adapter (3A max) because I wish to make possible any potential desire to power such a console with a <11W USB PD smartphone charger and cord, assuming you already have these at hand and that they support 9 volt output. You may also use this plug to power similarly configured game consoles within spec (i.e.: a Nintendo Family Computer).

• Upon trying to play the Streets of Rage when I first bought it, the cart refused to boot and turned out to have a faulty ROM with an address bind going undone (I looked this one up). A 1K ohm resistor was soldered between two legs of the ROM chip because of this. It has been working well since.
