Hardback book "Barenetha Rock: a True Drama of the Sea" by Stanley Rogers, published by W H Allen in 1957.  Ex Seafarers Education Service library copy, re-bound in heavy-duty red boards and with title mis-spelled (Berenetha Rock) on spine and with new endpapers fitted .  Some wear to spine ends corners and bottom edge of boards, binding split at the "About this book" page, ink stamp on title page and others with ships names (Borjistan, Columbia Star, Ellora, Port Quebec) on last page.  Deals with the wreck of the French steamship "Ville du Havre" which sank on 22nd November 1873 in mid-Atlantic after colliding with the "Loch Earn" which was also badly damaged.  The survivors were taken on board the American ship "Trimountain" and taken to Cardiff.  223pp, 9 b&w illustrations.
