Supro Coronado 1590 -From the early days of guitar manufacturing. This is a super rare Supro 1590 Coronado circa 1959-1960. Pickup selection is rather unique. The Tone selector switch engages the neck pickup;then the bridge pickup; then an acoustic piezo pickup built into the bridge. The three sets of volume and tone for each pickup are the three sets of copper "knobs" under the strings.A flat blade screwdriver is used to set the volume and tone for each pickup. All output is controlled by the single volume knob on the body.

Great condition considering its age.

String action is excellent. There is no neck truss rod. In its place, the neck is reinforced with a metal bar running through it. There is also a neck tilt adjustment feature. So, neck/string action height/alignment is a snap. The original case - in excellent condition- is included. The former owner had his band name written on the case as pictured.
