A really beautiful pair of designer made to measure velvet curtains. Fully lined and thermally interlined. Beautifully tailored and top quality embroidered velvet fabric.  Weighted.
Designers guild fabric (but not able to verify)
The photos are good by eye, and the fabric is a silver grey. Purbeck stone by Farrow and Ball is close with a silver sheen and other comparisons given to show embroidery colours. Let me know if you would like a photo against a particular colour.
They are very heavy (approx 10kg) and drape elegantly.

A second slighltly smaller pair is also for sale

These are priced according to condition so please note the points below.
Both curtains have fading at the edges, and photos given of both of curtains in the pair.
Some minor fading in the folds
The interlining is in good conditon but the outer blackout backed lining has a significant tear near the edge - see photo and a couple of smaller 'slits' in the fabric.  This could be repaired and as there is another lining underneath it doesnt show as much as on single layered curtains. Some marks on the lining.

These are fully functional but are definitely in used condition. Please ask any questions you have about them.

The dimensions above are for EACH curtain in the pair. Below are the measurements in inches and in centimetres.
Please note that these are pinch pleated so are fixed width. They can be used on a narrower span but not made wider. The hooks give flexibilty to the height. The full length is listed but they could be made shorter by placing the hooks lower down if needed.

Measurements below give the width along the hem and the fixed top.

Width: 88 inches (224cm) each at the hem and 41 inches (104cm) each at the gathered top - so as a pair these will span just over 2 metres (208cm)
Drop : 101 inches (256cm)

I try to measure accurately but sometimes room for minor error so let me know if more precision needed.

Postage costs includes insurance for the full amount to cover for any loss or damage in transit. The insurance costs are often greater than the actual postage costs. Collection in person is always welcome.

Buying second hand or vintage curtains means that there may be some small/superficial marks but once hung no one will notice. If I find anything major I will point it out in the listing and provide one or more pictures of the 'issues'.
