WILL FIT, MD2b and probably MD11

The glow plug is 24 volt, so if you have a 12 volt system just connect a  + and -  wire in series from two of your 12 volt batteries to the glow plug to get 24 volt, obviously connect it through a 24 volt car type rely, and push button.  A 20amp relay and push button is enough, cheap on eBay. 

obviously if you do not have to use the glow plug, just leave it in place but not connected.
