Exceedingly rare 1900s Marsden Tile Co. Ltd. pottery tile. We believe this was a transfer with hand painted color details. It is so very Art Nouveau and an original, not a reproduction. This is a very special piece. Marsden Tile Company Limited operated from 1892 to 1928 and the company was known for their ceramic tiles in the Art Nouveau style. Fun Fact: Marsden created tiles for Wedgwood and Doulton---big names in very high-end, high-quality ceramics! The tile features the typical Marsden back. The condition is wonderful. It is an antique and features a very little nibble on one edge (upper right). It is approximately 6 inches square (see photos). Please see video and pictures for additional information on condition and approximate measurements! This is a very special find!   We have additional, matching tiles, in stock, we plan to sell via EBAY. Please message if you are interested in more than one. This listing is for the one tile shown.

Imperfections are common in vintage items. We work to describe and/or photograph items carefully so you know exactly what you are getting. The character of our vintage and antique items are often very enhanced by such imperfections. We say this so our buyers don't expect brand new, mass produced results from aged items and production processes. This is the charm and uniqueness that makes vintage items so special!

Photo props are not included in your purchase.

We pack items very carefully. If your item does end up damaged from the carrier, we will ask that you send us photographs of the damaged item and packaging to aid us in submitting a refund claim.
