Make a fashion statement with this Kepi snapback cap, resemblant of the classic kepi worn by Union soldiers of the Civil War Era. It comes in a rich navy blue wool (or wool like) fabric. It has the iconic belt strap in black with gold colored buckle and accents. The strap is leather or a leather like material. The visor of the kepi is a black plastic like material. The cap lining and sweatband appear to be a cotton twill fabric. The kepi is stitched neatly and tightly all around. Please note I am not a textile expert and was not able to confirm any of the actual fabrics or materials used. This product is proudly Made in USA as it is shown in large letters behind the snapback and in a small removal tag. While I have also listed it as a costume or reenactment piece for historical military uniforms, the classic kepi did not have a snapback. Keep that in mind if you were needing this cap for that specific purpose. Thankfully for the snapback, however, it will adjust to most hat sizes. 

This item is pre-owned in great condition. Two blemishes worth mentioning even though they are in areas of the cap covered by the forehead:  

1. I spot cleaned what appeared to have been foundation makeup on the sweatband. It is now completely gone but the cleaning caused some of the blue color to fade. 
2. The material underneath the visor appears crinkled, not sure if that is how it is supposed to be but either way in this area there are 2 tiny sections of the material that are peeling off.
