A Good Home Wanted For Finky Bus

She is a 1966 splitscreen vw type 2 11 window bus. She was imported from Austria from the owner Fink. Fink is also a business that is still going today who specialises in flooring, particularly antique wood. All the outside wording whilst stickers are genuine to do with the business in Austria and were put on by them 

Since our ownership along with regular servicing the gearbox has been out and rebuilt as she use to jump out of 4th gear. She has also been oil sprayed underneath a couple of times during our ownership (she lives in a dry garage when not in use) and is in very solid condition 

The bodywork is good but I would class her as a user rather than a trailer queen. The cab door outer skins will need replacing at some point in the future and the lower outer part of the sills - but they certainly haven’t rusted through yet - just being open

Engine is a 1641 and is strong, goes well with twin single carburettors and is happy cruising at 55/60 all day long 

Her original colour is the rare velvet green but she has been painted in a cream colour which is related to the Fink livery

She has a file with MOTs / receipts and a couple of other bits including ownership document copies from Austria and a letter of confirmation of her manufacturing date from Volkswagen

There is also a box of new window rubbers and some other bits and pieces which will go with her

The headlining fits all the way through the van except for the rear last piece at the rear which is stuck down but not the best (see photo)

She is advertised elsewhere and can be removed at any time - no PayPal
