Vintage c1916 Frederick Wright Solid Silver 31mm Hinged Lugs Gents WW1 Trench Watch

A stunning vintage solid silver watch with rare hinged lugs that is in working order and keeping good time though running a little slow. The watch would normally have had two rear casebacks though now the outer one is missing. The remaining hinged caseback has the makers mark most likely for the Glasgow silversmith Frederick Wright who was active around 1916. The ceramic face has some chips to the outer edges of the watch face near the 10 & 5hr markers and look to have had some repairs at some point, the hands and crystal are in good condition, the case has some minor tarnishing and faint marks in places. It is fitted to a brand new brown leather strap

It measures approx 31mm diameter excluding the crown and the fixed lugs fit a 12mm strap
