This quilt features the "Dream Big Tiles" collection by Hoffman Fabrics, and has a stunning, contemporary look with vivid colors. The pattern is recommended for more advanced quilters with curved piecing experience. As a bonus, the pattern contains instructions to use up the leftover pieces to make 4 matching decorative pillows. Additional fabric will be needed for the off white background of the pillow fronts along with your choice of fabric(s) for the back of each pillow.
FABRIC: This spectrum digitally printed fabric is from the Dream Big Tiles collection designed by Jeanie Sumrall-Ajero for Hoffman Fabrics and features rows of 2-1/2" square tiles depicting previous Dream Big, Dream Big Dance and Dream Big Kaleidoscope designs in (10) different colorways.
100% cotton fabric. Machine wash delicate cycle, tumble dry low, do not bleach, use cool iron.

The kit contains a purchased copy of the Floating Flowers pattern and instructions designed by Judit Hajdu of Quilt Fox Design along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top shown in picture 1. This kit contains all fabrics required for top of the quilt and the edge binding. BACKING AND BATTING WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.
The overall finished size of this quilt is about 74" x 92".
Picture 2 shows one of the four pillows that can be made with some of the leftover scraps from the quilt, pictures 3 thru 5 show the pattern and fabrics used to make the quilt and included in this kit, and pictures 6 thru 10 show larger images of some of the fabrics. Picture 5 shows the natural or off-white 24/7 solid background fabric. There are no substituted fabrics in this kit!
Skill Level: Must have experience in curved piecing! Curved paper template sheet is included in the pattern.
The pattern recommends 6 yards of backing fabric for the quilt assuming a standard 44" width along with an 82" x 100" piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.
IF MAKING THE FOUR (4) COORDINATING BONUS PILLOW COVERS, YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO PURCHASE 1-1/4 YARDS OF HOFFMAN 24/7 SOLID SCREENPRINT NATURAL T4878-20 FOR THE PILLOW BACKGROUNDS ALONG WITH 1-1/2 YARDS OF YOUR CHOICE FOR THE BACKS AS WELL AS PILLOW FORMS. YOU WILL HAVE ENOUGH SCRAPS OF THE DREAM BIG TILES FABRICS, AND YOU WILL BE CREATING 22" SQUARE BLOCKS TO MAKE THE PILLOW COVERS.
A little over 9-5/8 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern. NOTE: FABRICS IN THIS KIT ARE PACKAGED IN THE SAME ORDER AS LISTED ON THE PATTERN SO THAT YOU CAN EASILY ORGANIZE OR MARK THEM USING YOUR PREFERRED METHOD!
