1930s Solid Oak Front Door

1930s Original reclaimed/antique Wooden Solid Oak Front Door, bespoke made to the highest quality. 

Carefully removed by professional fitters.

Condition

• Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
• Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
• Not bowed or rotted at all.
• Small dents on the internal side (see photos), however, these could be filled by a competent carpenter.
• The rain sill, escutcheon and bottom locking plate are missing (see photos), however, these are all available to purchase online.
• The letterbox has been covered with a panel of Solid Oak (see photos). This could be removed by your fitter, and replaced with a letterbox cover if desired.
• Screw holes on both sides of the door (see photos). These could easily be filled.

Missing Parts

• There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
• Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key

Security

• 3 point locking system making it very secure.

Opening

• The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.

Glazing

• Glazing is original single glazed, clear.
• Has leaded Georgian Bars stuck externally on the glazing.

Colour

• The wood is varnished externally and internally, showing the natural wood grain throughout.
•  The hinges are Solid Brass.
