Do you have an old Chroma Polaris with switches that don't work? That's normal--after 20 years or so, the switch panels failed, due to some problem in the materials used by Fender of Japan.

The solution is new panels. I have had these copies made by a reputable membrane switch firm in the Los Angeles area, and over the past decade hundreds of people have used them to resurrect their broken Polarises. The failures may have been "normal" for the Polaris, but they're not normal for membrane switches in general, and these should last a lifetime, not a measly 20 years.

How to install them? Practically all my customers have done it themselves, with no problems. It only requires simple tools, reasonable care, and perhaps an hour of your time. You can always message me here if you need advice. I can also advise you if it turns out you have additional problems with your Polaris.

Please contact me first for international shipping, or if you're a repair shop and would like more than one set in the same package.

Who am I? I was the main designer on the Polaris project at Fender, back in the early 1980s. I plead not guilty to choosing whatever they made the panels out of, but it still makes me happy to help people bring my creation back to life.
