I don't know anything substantive about this sculpture. It appears to be of South American or Caribbean indigenous origin, but I could be wrong. South Pacific isles, perhaps? Doesn't seem African, but of this I am unsure. Whatever wood it's made of could pinpoint where it came from, but there again, I'm stumped. The legs appear to have been either broken off and reattached or sculpted separately and attached to the body later. The bald-headed figure is holding what looks like a phallus, but could also be a musical instrument of some sort—a percussion box? The thing is an enigma, and might be considered for inclusion into a museum collection.
