Rare GIBSON Advanced Jumbo model produced from 1936 to 1940.
The Advanced Jumbo is said to have been released in the 1930s to compete with Martin's D-28, and is a rare model using rosewood, which is rare for Gibson, and has a completely different atmosphere from the J-45. This instrument is the Advanced Jumbo Maple Custom, a custom model using adirondack spruce and flame maple.

The tight, full, punchy attack produced by the long scale is full of Gibson character. The rich volume produced by the adirondack spruce and the sharpness and response produced by the flame maple are different from the regular line.
There are some shallow scuffs, but there are almost no noticeable scratches, and the condition is very good, including the playing surface.
The Advanced Jumbo Maple Custom can handle everything from powerful strokes to delicate fingerpicking, and has a great line sound.
