Description
Founded in 1931, the Electro String Instrument Corporation developed the world's first electric lap steel guitar, laying the foundation for the electric guitar and producing numerous masterpieces.
This one is a 1976 model with specs not found in the current lineup: a semi-hollow maple body with a “Fireglo” color, a maple neck/rosewood fingerboard wood materia, and a toaster pickup/21 fret specification. The control section is equipped with the standard 2-Vol/2-Tone/5th control.
In terms of condition, there are some scratches and scratches due to use, slight peeling of the paint, and checking of the paint, but it maintains a beautiful condition that does not show its age of about 50 years.
There are no noticeable irregularities on the frets, and there is plenty of room for tightening the truss rod.
