This is an EMPTY plastic postal packet bag from The Netherlands with a Royal Mail ''Accelerated Bulk Airmail'' sticker.

I am not a philatelist but I used to run a collectors shop (football memorabilia) in Wandsworth between 1966 and 1971 and as a lot of deals were done by post in those days I would try to keep as many bits and pieces from the post to put in the shop window to try to earn a few extra pennies. 

I also worked in the post room of a Greek Shipping company in the 1970s and salvaged some items from that period before they reached the waste paper basket.

I also ran a small postal business for many years. 

I also worked behind the counter of a post office in Southampton Street, off The Strand in London where all the stamp dealers had shops and was often asked about this kind of thing by the shop owners but we were not allowed to discuss such matters with the public.

These items could have come from any part of my above working life. 

I re-discovered them when having a recent clear out.
