Created one at a time in our small shop. Each one is a unique work of art. We only use Red Eared Slider Turtles to make our picks.  They are legally obtained and the shells are a by-product of the food industry so no turtle is directly harmed to create these picks.

"SLY RED's" Tortoise Shell picks have a sound all their own, especially if you are playing acoustic guitar. These picks are great for Bluegrass, Country, Blues, etc. They are very rigid and offer very little to no flex. They are an organic material and will wear on the edges, they can also chip if you are very aggressive with your picking.  You can smooth them over with a small piece of 600 grit automotive sandpaper (available at most auto parts stores)
