An imported Chassis with an automatic transmission by used by MINICARS, INC. as a test bed for its 1st operational gasoline - electric hybrid car. The air cooled 30 BHP gasoline engine is on the right in this front view, and the motor-generator is on the left. Simple non-electronic controls are used.
