1 MOLENS VAN
NEDERLAND (1974) Dutch Windmills in Maps Pictures & Anecdotes
Hardcover In Dutch
In Dutch / In Het Nederlands: Beautiful tour-de-force in the many ubiquitous windmills of all periods and styles that define the countryside of the Netherlands. Hardcover, 140 pages, printed in Amsterdam in 1974 and in outstanding condition, this book includes complete maps where, apparently, every windmill in the entire country can be located. The book is in Dutch, and covers all aspects of windmill culture in Holland, construction, architecture, history, etc, all accompanied with many photos, both black and white and color. Maybe the nicest book of the type I’ve ever seen, and more than a coffee table book, this one could ride shot-gun with you in your rent-a-car in Holland, as it tells you exactly where to see which windmill. Complete with lists. I’ve gotten as much as I can with the 12 photos, and I’m throwing in a hardcover edition of
