English drabware started in early 19th century, in 1800's, and was traditionally made from dark clay resulting in deep colours of beige-brown, grey or olive green.

This plate is on the grey side. It has an impressed design of a rose and lilies of the valley, and gilding on the edges.

Gilding has worn off in some spots. There are also a few tiny chips/ fleabites on the edges and the underside - please refer to pictures for details. Crazing is present.

The plate measures approximately 9" in diameter.

PLEASE NOTE: four plates are available for sale - all have imperfections and small chips/fleabites, but no major chips or repairs. The attached pictures are those of one specific plate. Please contact for pictures of the other plates if you are interested in buying more than one.
