For sale is this very scarce vintage cassette single of THE BEATLES - LET IT BE b/w YOU KNOW MY NAME (LOOK UP THE NUMBER) on Parlophone/Apple Records 1991 in immaculate condition.

In 1991, as it was in the process of discontinuing vinyl production, EMI Records released all 22 of the Beatles original 45 rpm singles on cassette apparently in order to meet a contractual obligation to keep The Beatles' catalogue in print. A year later in 1992 they issued all The Beatles' singles again on the CD format and the cassettes were discontinued. Today they are very scarce and so are highly sought after by collector's.

I am selling a number of these that I was fortunate to acquire recently. They came to light, along with some other interesting Beatles' dead stock, in the effects of a recently deceased former employee of the EMI factory in Hayes, Middlesex. They are presumed to have been taken away from the factory by workers as they were removed from the catalogue and were no longer needing to be warehoused. They are all in EX or Near Mint condition housed in cardboard slip cases inside an outer jewel case and look unplayed.

Condition: The jewel case and cassette are both graded Near Mint (NM). The slip case is Excellent EX with very slight wear at the edges.

If this item interests you why not have a look at my other listings. I have hundreds of other interesting and rare cassettes and records including lots more Beatles.

Please feel free to use the "MAKE OFFER" button - I won't mind at all.

Thanks for looking.
