Design Features:

The Antique Vintage pattern showcases multiple grape clusters with leaves and tendrils on the handles.

You’ll find portions of the grape motif on the butter knife blade, in the bowl of the Bon-Bon spoon, and above the tines on the serving  fork.

Origins and Popularity:

Designed by Samuel Stohr, a staff designer at the Meriden Britannia Company (a division of the International Silver Co.), the Vintage pattern quickly became one of the most beloved silver-plated patterns ever produced.

It was introduced in 1904 and remained in production until about 1918.

Throughout this period, the company continually added new items to the Vintage line, resulting in over 100 different pieces available by 1916.

The following markings are on the pieces:

2 Serving Spoons: 1847 Roger Bros XS Quintuple

1 Serving Fork: 1847 Roger Bros XS Triple

1 Bon-Bon Spoon: 1847 Roger Bros AI

1 Butter Server Knife: 1847 Roger Bros AI (Bros AI are hard to see)
