After much research I Bought the XKE shown in the pictures above with the intent of doing a full restoration.  I did some basic disassembly of the things I knew I was going to replace and was able to confirm the the car had minimal rust and was in overall sound condition.

I reviewed what I wanted to accomplish with the car and I bought everything I thought I needed.  This included:

A full Clayton Classics AC system upgrade.
New engine beams
Upgraded cooling system, radiator and fans
A complete, new premium interior kit
New wire wheels and spindles.
Upgraded brakes, calipers
Countless suspension parts
New brake line kit
New wiring harnesses.
Upgraded alternator.
Electric power steering conversion kit
New steering rack
New steering wheel
Minor sheet metal repair panels

Basically I had everything necessary to start the rebuilding process.

I paid $32,000 for the Car and I have easily have that many dollars in parts and hundreds of hours in research.

However, my health is not going to allow me to actually do the work required to reassemble this into the car I dreamed of.

I have it listed for little more that I paid for the car, this is an opportunity for someone who has the time to undertake the project and end up with a stunning example of a car at a seriou discount to starting over.

Yes, it s an XKE, so it leaks, yes, it will need paint,  yes, you will need a box truck and trailer to get it home.  I strongly suggest you come see this car and collection of parts.  It is in the DFW area
