This is used on John Deer tractor models A (Up to SN 487,999), AR & AO (Up to SN 259,999), B (Up to SN 89,999), BR & BO (Up o SN 331,499), G (Up to SN 12,999), .D (SN 130,700 and up). All these using the long lug magneto.

This Wico XH477 magneto's at minimum had the following done:

Magneto was completely disassembled.

All parts were cleaned and inspected.

Front bearing was replaced with new bearing.

Rear bushing was removed and impregnated lubed for continuous lubrication.

New points, and condenser were installed.

Coil was tested and heat tested to insure it would not fail after heating up, if it failed a new coil was installed.

Magnets were remagnetized. 

Front impulse coupler was lubed and installed

Installed good rotor and new rear cover.

Was assembled with new gaskets.

Was test run on bench.

Impulse works properly and spark jumps 7/16" at cranking speed.

At run speed spark jumps 7/16",  and run timing was checked and is was adjusted to 35 degrees as the book specifies for this model magneto.

Magneto will come with one year written warranty, and also a mount gasket not pictured.

A core price of $250 is included into the retail price and will be paid back to you when we receive your core (same as purchase) back and is determined to be in rebuildable condition. If you are unsure of the condition of you core you can send us pictures of it if you would like.
