When ordering, please make sure that the mounting kits are delivered without crash pad heads due to the possible choice of shapes and colors and that these must be ordered separately. Crash pads prevent or Reduce costly damage to the frame, tank and fairing of your machine if it tips over or falls. On naked bikes it is primarily the crank mechanism that is at risk; on fully faired bikes such as sports tourers or athletes, the valuable outer skin is also at risk.
