Complete Set 18th Century Antique Wrought Iron Suffolk Style Thumb Latch (41134)                                                                                                                                                                           
Original late 18th century or very early 19th century American wrought iron thumb latch complete and all original.                                                                                                  Handle  measures 9 1/2"  tip to tip overall with a 3 1/2" grip opening.                                                                                                                Good condition showing only very minor surface pitting from age and weathering with an exceptional early handle well executed.                                                                                                       Flat thumb press is pinned and lift extends  1 3/4" from back fitting a door maximum thickness of 1".                                                                                                       The bar measures 5 1/2" from center pivot hole, the drive-in staple is 1  3/4" high with longest drive-in spike 2  1/4" deep, and the drive-in keeper is 2  3/4" from tip to spiked end.                                                                                                                                  All in a black finish.
