Wooden Front Door

1930s Original reclaimed/antique Wooden Timber, Front Door. 

Carefully removed by professional fitters. 

Condition

• Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
• Not bowed or rotted at all.
• Light cosmetic paint chips in places, but these are normal with older wooden doors – nothing a sanding down and repainting wouldn’t cover.
• Hole in the edge of the door (see photos) from a previously installed lock, which could be filled or used to install a replacement lock.

Security

• Multi-point ‘Chubb’ and ‘Yale’ locks would need to be replaced, as there are no keys for either lock.

Opening

• The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.
• Hinges/ locks could be altered (holes may need to be filled) if you wanted the door opening/ operating another way.

Glazing

• Glazing is original single glazed, distorted.
• The design on the glazing is not genuine lead or stained glass, but is actually a sticker which is peeling off (see photos). This could removed or stuck back to the glazing.

Colour

• The colour externally is Black and internally is White. However, this can easily be stripped down and repainted in your choice of colour.
•  Hinges are painted white.
