This beautiful vanity mirror is a wonderful example of Chinese decorative art and would make an excellent addition to any dressing table. Most likely from the mid 20th century.  Richly decorated with floral and scroll patterns against a cream/ivory ground. Underside with a blue enamel lining. The mirror has two sides, both of which are etched with a floral design.  Cloisonne enameling in multi colors adorns the framework below the mirror and the base with the predominate color being blue, with a tiny bit of pink and aqua.  This mirror is both practical and elegant.

Size:  15" tall and the actual mirror is 8" across.  The width with the framework is 10.5" across.  The base is 8" at the bottom.

Blue enamel bottom has sticker "Made in the People's Republic of China"

Mirror comes apart into two sections for easy storage.

Each side of the mirror has a different floral design.  There is a small magnifying circle on each side of mirror as well.

Condition:  Overall very good condition, with minimal age related wear.  There is a small mark  to mirror beneath the brass clamp on one side.  Most likely from pressure when tightened or maybe part of the floral design? It is not very noticeable, and is pictured above.  Some faint wear to surface of mirror mostly toward outer edges, but once again, it does not detract.

This mirror is a wonderful representation of Chinese craftsmanship and is a must-have for collectors.
