Description

The D-35 was Martin's first model to feature a three-piece back, and its binding fingerboard is also a distinguishing feature of its appearance. The D-35 is a dreadnought with a combination of spruce and rosewood, a style of guitar that takes the high road with the D-28.

The first impression is a clear tone with a sense of coolness and luster, based on the thick bass that is typical of dreadnought guitars. It contains a thick core of fundamental notes and complex overtones, and depending on how you play it, you can bring out a variety of expressions. It is a truly American sound that reminds one of the strength of trees in the sunlight and the breath of the earth. Subjectively speaking, the Martin sound is the sound that rings in your head.

　Made in 1980. Only a few scuffs and scratches from the pick can be seen, but overall the guitar is well kept.

　The pegs have been replaced with GOTOH pegs, and the original peg mounting holes have been filled in.

　The original pegs are included.

　The neck is in good condition, with no warps or habits, and the string height is optimal.

　(Standard tuning with light gauge, 2.5mm on the 6th string and 2.0mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret)
