The Pace Collection was a high-end contemporary furniture company in business from 1960 to 2001. The company was founded by Irving and Leon Rosen in New York City.  The showroom located in Manhattan on East 62nd Street offered its fine furniture and services to the contract interior design trade. The Pace Collection advertised in numerous architectural and interior design periodicals.  The Pace Collection furniture was distinguished by employing rich, exotic wood veneers with high-gloss finishes.

From our private collection we are pleased to offer a suite comprising 9 pieces designed by Adam Tihany for the Pace Collection.  The pieces are all part of a line called “Venezia” that featured highly lacquered mahogany with X forms the main motif.  The “Venezia” line featured arm chairs, foot rests, side tables, loveseats, and sofas all of which we have in this collection.  The leather shows varying degrees of wear from regular use.  We suggest a new owner would want to reupholster them and it is enabling someone to put together a complete set of refurbished pieces that has let to the decision to sell as a complete set.

The complete set comprises, two armchairs, one love seat, one sofa, one foot rest and four side tables.

We are stating local pickup only (they are in North Carolina).  However, we will work with any purchaser and carrier of their choice to pick up and transport at their expense.

We believe that we have our items priced fairly considering factors such as quality, rarity, and condition.  Please note, we rarely extend offers to watchers of our items.  eBay has rather trained people to expect offers which leads to buyers sitting on the fence waiting for offers, and to sellers putting prices up so they can then offer what appear to be discounts.  We feel that in making offers all we end up doing is bidding against ourselves.  Likewise, we do not respond to messages asking our "best price."  That said, we do encourage people who are seriously interested an item to make an offer.  That gets a meaningful conversation going.  We always respond to offers that indicate genuine interest.
