This is a wireless phone. It will not work on a plain phone line. This phone registers to a UP406 or UP416 phone and acts as an extension of that phone. It can pickup all 4 lines. It will not work on it's own.

A UP407 phone. This is a new, open box phone. We pulled it out and made sure the battery would take a charge. Comes with the charge stand, power adapter and user guides. A complete setup.
