We offer a complete refurbishment of our Crittall doors and windows, to help restore them to their former glory- see bottom of listing.

Condition

• Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
• Excellent condition both sides.
• Draught excluder is missing on a door externally, however, this can be purchased online at a low expense.
• Two small glass panes on the side windows are broken. However, if you intend to sandblast and repaint this item, the glass would need to be entirely replaced anyway. 
• These doors will need some TLC, please see ‘Glazing’ section for Refurbishment process and costs.

Security

• Has bolt locks on the inside for extra security.
• Multi-point locking system making it very secure.
• Comes with 1 key. However, we can order additional keys for £10 each.

Opening

• Externally opening doors.
• When viewing from the outside, the main traffic door is located on the left.

Sidelight / Window

• There are two sidelights of equal width. Each sidelight is 28.5 cm in width.
• The sidelights can be cut off, leaving just the door frame width of 114.2 cm.
• If one sidelight is cut off, the door frame width is 142.7 cm.

Glazing

• Glazing is original, single glazed and clear.

Refurbishment process and costs:

• The furniture, putty and glazing is removed by our in-house team, before being sent off to be professionally sand-blasted and re-sprayed/ powder coated in the colour of your choice (please see photos for the processing steps & an example of some previously refurbished).  
• Stripping, sandblasting and respraying costs £895.00 including VAT (your installer would be required to reassemble).
• Unfortunately we are unable to salvage old glazing due to it breaking easily on removal, but we can supply new glazing for your glacier to fit.  
• If you are considering fitting double glazed units into your Crittall product, you need to be aware that the rebate will limit the thickness of the glazing unit. 
• Using glazing tape and mastic, most glaziers are happy to fit up to 14mm double glazing although most would prefer 12mm glazed units. 
• It's always best to check with your glazier before ordering (we are happy to provide rebate details where we can).

Prices for clear glazing below include VAT: (We can supply Obscure, Tinted and even Leaded glass if required, although this would increase the price slightly).

• Single glazed 4mm thick: £125 
• Single glazed 6mm thick: £175
• Double glazed 12mm, Argon Gas, Toughened, 2.6 U-Value, 15mm Sightline (Silver Spacer Bar): £295 (£545 for Low Sightline, less than 8mm, Black or White Spacer Bar).
• Double glazed 14mm, Argon Gas, Toughened, 2.1 U-Value (Silver, Black or White Spacer Bar): £295 (£545 for low Sightline, less than 8mm).

Colour

• The doors externally and internally is painted White, with a matching frame either side. However, it can be stripped down and repaint in your choice of colour.
• The handles are Solid Brass and the hinges are painted White.
