A classic Victorian table piece, the high lidded compote (comport) will be eye-catching on your dining table, mantle or shelf.  Detailed diamonds and large cross patterns fill the front and back panels, and the sides of the 5" square bowl are upgraded with lovely, graceful hand-engraved foliage.   Adams engravings truly make this piece special.

An excellent display compote, there are no chips or cracks to the base. The lid has a few flakes from bottom rim and a corner bottom edge as seen in the final image.  There are no issues with the finial. 

As with EAPG, Depression Era, and other vintage glass, there may be slight 'character' marks, bubbles, ripples and mold marks on bottoms or sides from the original mold and/or production process.
