This is the exact replica of the actual 2nd class Soup Bowls and Salad Plates used on the Titanic. This pattern is known as the Delft Blue pattern. This was the only style used in the 2nd Class dining room on board the Titanic. Identical pieces have been retrieved from the wreck of the RMS Titanic. The design of the plate is the closest I have ever seen to the original. It is a very stunning looking plate. None of the actual pieces ever said Titanic, but they said White Star Line so they could be used on their other ships. They are not microwave safe and should be hand washed. However, they are safe to eat off of.
The Salad plate can also be used as a saucer for the soup bowl as seen in the pictures above. You will will get 4 soup bowls and 4 salad plates,
The Salad plate is 8" and the the soup bowl is 8 3/4"
It will be bubble wrapped for best protection.
