This vintage A30 laptop was a high end workstation when it was released.
The drive was replaced with a PATA/IDE solid state drive. It only has 20GB capacity but Windows and old games do not take up much storage space. Drive was formatted and Windows installed. No drivers installed after that point.
The battery holds a charge but only for about 10 minutes. This laptop should remain connected to power.
CD/DVD drive has been used for the Windows install so it is functional.
There is no touch pad on this old of a laptop. Instead the mouse pointer is moved with a tiny control stick in the middle of the keyboard. The rubber end of that controller is broken off so it is difficult to move the on-screen arrow. An external USB mouse would be better to use.
