Note- these headphones have a really clean and clear sound quality- I felt like I could hear fine details in songs that I had previously missed- but they are not very sensitive- I had to turn up the volume on my amplifier further than I expected to get proper operation- however, they still got acceptably loud. Also, the bass response was not as strong as modern headphones I have used. This is the only set of electrostatic headphones I have ever tested, so I am not sure if that is normal or if the energizer needs service.

These headphones are in nice pre owned condition, with light wear. There are some shiny spots of residue on the headphones from the styrofoam liner in the box- I believe these have been sitting in the box for quite some time. The inner padding on the headband has pulled up in one spot- see pictures.

The Energizer unit has some general wear, particularly on the rear corner, where the wood has been dented.

The cords, pads and vinyl are all flexible and in good condition.

I tested this unit with my amplifier. The speaker pass through switch works well, and both headphone outputs sound nice.

The box has general wear and staining from storage.

No manual is included.
