Sergio Veglio was born in 1958 in Turin, where he lives and works.
He has had a passion for art since a young age and graduated from the GB Bodoni Institute of Graphic Arts in Turin. At the beginning of the 90s he presented himself to the Italian public with some personal and collective exhibitions. After a period of absence, he now finds the right spirit and motivated inspiration to propose new works for the public's judgment.
In the work "Nuvole" he lets himself be guided by the music and words of Fabrizio De Andrè which have always filled the Artist's heart with a blaze of disturbances, culminating in the majestic Boccadasse reproduced here in an emotional way.

In 2011 he exhibited a taste of the ongoing project built on one of the great American myths: the famous "coast to coast" journey. Real visions painted on 12 canvases through the dreamlike landscapes of Route 66 with its characteristic cinematic cuts based on the play of light and shadow that have always characterized the works of this artist.
In 2020 he opens up to a new form of expression: as in his life, even in his artistic career he continues to travel against the current. Historically the "hyperrealism" phenomenon derives from Popart but, after having sought its own style in the drafting of hyperreal works, today it approaches the "pop" movement, seizing the moment of the selfie craze, transforming the portraits in an artistic way involving the characters who they are part of our imagination.
