A Pineapple shaped jug produced by Michael Andersen & Sons, Bornholm, Denmark, circa 1935.
Very famous and highly collectable Danish art pottery. This jug is quite rare.
The jug is green and glazed in a subtle way. It consists of a rounded form with heavily textured 'pineapple' surface with a handle reminiscent of leaves.
Stamped, indistinctly to the base with the Bornholm 3 herrings shield and the model number (4621-2).
Height: ~ 14.5 cm
Length: ~ 12 cm
Width: ~ 11 cm
There are no faults that I can discern.
