Authentic (not a reprint) Civil War Harper's Weekly dated November 1 1862
Here are the Highlights:
  • Cover:   "The Town of Perryville, Kentucky, Scene of the Recent Battle" and "The Pirate 'Alabama'"
  • Centerfold:  "Rebel Raid in to Pennsylvania-Stuart's Cavalry on their Way to the Potomac"
  • Centerfold:   "Battle of Corinth-The Struggle Over Robinett's Battery-Stanley's Division Coming Up to the Support
  • Full Page:    "Battle of Perryville, Kentucky"
Please note that they placed the centerfold not on the 2 center pages, so that you see half on page 692 and haf on 701. I havent seen this on any other issue, I'm not sure why they placed it so oddly.

Plus, of course, great advertisements which both give you a good laugh and really help you get a feel for the way of life over 160 years ago!

Very Collectible Issue. Packed with excellent prints & battle news
Own a tremendous piece of history.

Please see photos for additional information and condition of pages

Thanks!
