2 BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE LATE 19th c QI’ING DYNASTY CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK SLEEVE BANDS!


Up for the auction are 2 beautiful antique from the late 19th/ early 20th century Chinese embroidered off white silk sleeve bands from an informal Chinese lady's robe. The sleeve bands feature finely embroidered flowers, Buddhist Shou (longevity) signs and Phoenix bird medallions.The embroidery executed in fines satin stitches using multicolored silk threads.

Extremely finely worked piece- just look at the pictures!

Each of the beautiful sleeve bands measures 36” (91.4 cm) long x 5” (12.7 cm) wide.

CONDITION: GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION OVERALL; SOME STAINING TO THE SILK AND PULLING TO THE THREADS OF THE EMBROIDERY ( VERY INSIGNIFICANT PULLING). OTHERWISE GOOD. FOR CONDITION REPORT PLEASE, REFER TO THE PICTURES.
