This 1:25 scale wooden ship building kit depicts the Captain's boat from the Spanish galleon, San Juan Nepomuceno. This ship was part of the Spanish Armada during the 18th Century. It was constructed in the shipyards of Guarnizo (Cantabria) in 1765.

The San Juan Nepomuceno fulfilled different performances until in 1803 when under the control of Cosme Damián Churruca it took part in the Battle of Trafalgar. The ship was surrounded by up to six English ships, and was ordered to surrender. This happened after the death of Churruca and his second in command. Captured by the Royal Navy, the San Juan Nepomuceno would be towed to Gibraltar and put on display for visitors.

The kit includes all parts necessary to complete and these include, high quality laser cut timber, brass, cast iron and die cut metal parts, cotton threads, cotton hand sewn sail materials and nails. For assembly you can follow complete step-by-step instructions that are printed in colour.

This kit is recommended for wood modelling beginners, 14 years and older. The completed kit will measure 405mm long, 365mm tall with a 190mm beam.
