Description

The Eric Clapton signature model that most Martin fans know.

A used product made in 2005 is now in stock.

[Model overview]

If you're a Martin fan, I'm sure many of you know this.

000-28EC is the signature model of musician Eric Clapton, who can be called a living legend.

In the 1980s and 1990s, the acoustic guitar industry was in decline due to the demand for electric guitars.

Eric Clapton played live acoustic guitar on MTV Unplugged in 1992.

It created a huge buzz and the acoustic guitar industry was once again revived thanks to this hero.

At the time, the guitar I had when I played was a Prior 000-42.

The first signature model was 000-42,

000-28EC was released in order to be able to deliver it to everyone at a lower price.

The fact that it is still around after nearly 30 years is a testament to its popularity and accomplishments.

【specification】

There are two main points that differ from 000-28 as a model.

The neck is a thick V-neck, and the material is of the same high grade as Style 41.

Just by changing these two things, the sound changes considerably,

First of all, the thick U-shape of the neck creates a thicker overall sound.

Furthermore, the high grade of the wood creates a spacious sound that sounds like it has been aged.

To be clear, the 000-28EC is for connoisseurs rather than the general public.

The sound that changed the way I played when I decided to move forward with this guitar,

It is thick and deep, and produces a sexy tone like that of an adult man.

Just like whiskey that has been aged in a barrel from the beginning,

I feel that the sound has an indescribable richness.

[Guitar condition]

There is also the fact that it was originally an aging toner, but the top is quite burnt.

There are some scratches and dents on the body, but they are not noticeable.

There are dents on the back of the neck near the 4th and 5th frets. There is no need to worry about it spreading from here.

Some people may be concerned about this when playing.

There is a bridge groove to increase the tension of the guitar.

There are enough frets left.

The neck is within the normal range, and there is only 2mm left of the saddle.

The string Koi is 2.5mm on the 6th string side and 2.0mm on the 1st string side on the 12th fret.

The pegs are a little rusty and dull, but they turn surprisingly well.

Regarding the sound, the sound is mellower than when it was new, and it feels like the years have passed.

When it was new, it didn't have a sharp sound, so it feels like a rougher sound that you can easily play.

I think many people are concerned about bridge groove machining,

I don't feel any particular inconvenience while playing, and you might think this is just a matter of taste.

We would appreciate it if you would consider this opportunity.
